Providing domestic support for our service users in their own home is an important part of them retaining their independence.
We can help you to manage your household tasks. We can do the housework for you, vacuuming, polishing, your laundry and ironing, do your shopping,
prepare meals and snacks and we can even help you pay your bills if you need us to.
We recognise that you want to live in a comfortable safe environment, and that you want to manage it as you always have done, so we do things your way, just how you would like them.
We understand the significant contribution carers make to the lives of those they care for at home every day. Whether you are a full-time professional carer or you care for a relative on an informal basis taking a break from your usual routine can be the solution that works for you. As a carer you want to relax, knowing that your relative, friend or client is safe with personalised care and support tailored to their needs.
We provide a flexible respite care service to enable you to take a break without having to worry about the person you care for. We can provide a sitting service that lasts just an hour or so or 24 hour respite care to enable you to take a complete break and be away from home overnight or for days if need be.
We can also provide emergency respite care if for reason of illness, injury or the need to be absent from the home without planned care presents itself.
We understand that you may be looking for the most sensitive type of specialist care – when a long term condition or terminal illness is no longer responding to treatment. We recognise that the very nature of such care requires special skills and great understanding and sensitivity, not only for the client’s needs but also for family and friends.
Palliative care always requires more intensive monitoring by our care management team, so that the changing needs of the client are recognised and accommodated. It also requires especially close liaison with other professionals such as specialist palliative nurses, community nurses, GP’s etc and staff work closely with family, friends and carers to give them personal support throughout the client’s illness.
We can provide a 24 hour service 7 days per week and will assure a continuity of care to you throughout the time that you need us.
Dementia shouldn’t stop anyone from leading a full and active life.
The best place for a person with memory loss is in familiar surroundings. The services we can provide are a valuable, trusted solution to help your loved one maintain a regular routine, thus enhancing his or her quality of life.
Our approach of encouragement and assistance helps family members cope with the challenges of dementia. Everyone in the care team recognises, supports and celebrates each person’s individuality. They receive training through our bespoke dementia care programmes and have regular refresher courses thereafter.
We recognise that our clients with dementia need time and patience to manage their independence and we work with them and their families to ensure that we use the time that we have with them in the best possible way to meet their needs.
