Definately an evolution! The developements and confines of task sheets have overlooked many of the other important attributes of an individuals well being.

After being fortunate to work on the Altogether Now Project it has demonstrated that having a flexible approach to care awards the person the respect and understanding that their needs cannot be confined to a task sheet but vary from day to day. It has shown that by giving care staff the trust and opportunity to recognise and respond to their client's needs that supporting people at home can meet all their needs, practical, emotional and social, and all are equally important in their contribution to well being and quality of life.

It has to be an evolution taking away the matron attitude of dictating care to giving control to tailoring needs to an individual
